Niesha Hinton

Niesha Hinton is a Certified Appraiser, former Federal Acting Supervisory Appraiser with more than twenty-three years of combined professional experience across appraisal, valuation, real estate, customer service, sales, leadership development, and instructional training. She has a wide variety of sales and valuation experience all over the United States and US territories.  

During her distinguished career with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, she advanced through several critical roles, including Acting Supervisory Appraiser, Property Appraisal and  Liquidation Specialist (PALS), Lead Instructor, Instructor, Revenue Officer, Tax Law Specialist, Acting Group Manager, Contact Representative, and Customer Service Representative.  

As an Acting Supervisory Appraiser and Field Manager Cadre within the Frontline Leaders Readiness Program (FLRP), Niesha developed advanced leadership competencies, overseeing teams responsible for valuation and liquidating complex assets, resolving employee concerns, improving workflow processes, and implementing federal program objectives. She is known for her mastery of valuation principles across residential, commercial, and specialized property types, as well as intangible and high-risk assets requiring expert judgment, legal interpretation, and courtroom-defensible valuation reports.  

Today, Niesha continues her appraisal career in the private sector with Opteon, where she serves as a Staff Appraiser. She brings a strong analytical skillset, exceptional research capabilities, and a deep commitment to accuracy, integrity, and client service.  Beyond her professional work, Niesha is a dedicated mentor and community advocate, volunteering with youth initiatives, golf organizations, and faith-based programs.

She is known for her leadership, her passion for professional development, and her commitment to elevating standards within the appraisal and real estate industries. She is affiliated with numerous industry groups, including the Appraisal Institute, among others, multiple Realtor associations, including NAREB, and a graduate of The NAREB Developers Academy.  Known for her integrity, work ethic, and commitment to excellence, Niesha Hinton brings unparalleled knowledge, professionalism, and leadership to every role she undertakes, whether guiding teams, conducting complex valuations, educating future professionals, or serving her community.
