MJ Carroll

Michael is the Principal and Chief Appraiser of MJ Valuations, Inc., providing residential real estate appraisal services across the Denver Metro area, including mountain and rural markets, with a focus on highly complex assignments. With nearly four decades in the profession, MJ has held leadership roles at institutions including Bank of America, where he served as District Chief Appraiser, as well as multiple valuation firms before launching and leading his own practice.

He is also a dedicated industry leader, serving as President of the Colorado Coalition of Appraisers and previously as Vice President of both the Coalition and CAREA, helping strengthen professional standards and community across the state. MJ brings deep field experience, technical rigor, and steady leadership to every assignment — combining institutional perspective with boots-on-the-ground expertise in complex residential valuation.
